McCall Memorial Hospital is a 15 bed inpatient facility offering 24 hour emergency care, obstetrics, surgical services, CAT scan, mobile MRI services and others, a combination rare in an area of this population. The hospital is affiliated with St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Boise and utilizes the Air St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus Lifeflight helicopter transport for emergencies beyond its existing scope of services. McCall also has an EMS service and an organized search and rescue team.
Cascade Medical Center offers 24 hour emergency care, regular outpatient services and a 10 bed inpatient facility and is located at 402 Old State Highway in Cascade. 208.382.4242
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center’s medical clinic at Tamarack Resort provides on-site urgent care, lab x-ray and general medical services. The clinic is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and is equipped to triage and stabilize orthopedic, cardiac and other emergencies for critical care transport to nearby hospitals. Saint Al’s Life Flight critical care medical transport services are available as well. The clinic is located in Discovery Square at 610 Village Drive. 208.325.1400
Many area residents pay a $50 annual membership fee for Life Flight to either Saint Alphonsus or Air St. Luke’s. Both programs cover out of pocket expenses for medically necessary flights to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise, the major trauma center for all of southwestern Idaho, to St. Luke’s or other facilities as needed.
