There's nothing as invigorating than a morning of fresh powder on the pristine slopes of Brundage Mountain, Tamarack Resort or The Little Ski Hill, followed by relaxing après ski slope side on in town. Brundage normally operates from mid November to mid April and is known for no lift lines, consistent snow and a true home town mountain experience.
Brundage Mountain seasons passes are a smokin' deal! Adult season passes for 2009-2010 are now $319 (early bird pricing) as an example. Check the website for pricing details and information on Brundage/Bogus Basin Combo passes.
Brundage offers full, half day and overnight cat skiing on 19,000 acres of Payette National Forest and is a vital participant in the programs of Adaptive Wilderness Sports of McCall.

The Little Ski Hill
Many of McCall's Olympic athletes as well as many locals got their start at the Little Ski Hill. Built in 1937 as a winter diversion for local forest workers, the Little Ski Hill is open from Tuesday through Saturday and offers a single T-bar. On Friday and Saturday nights the lights come on providing the only night skiing in the area with extended hours. Along with the T-Bar, there are 30 miles of groomed Nordic trails at nearby Little Bear Basin, a biathlon range, and a Nordic ski jump.
The Little Ski Hill offers individual/family passes for Alpine skiing and season passes for Nordic skiing at Little Bear Basin and is also a participant in the PRIMO Season Pass for Nordic skiing at several McCall area venues.
The Payette Lakes Ski Club has maintained a non profit organization to manage and fund the club. Check their website for hours of operation and season pass information.
Backcountry Skiing
For the more adventuresome skier who seeks thousands of acres of untracked powder, Payette Powder Guides offers the ultimate backcountry ski experience including winter yurt rentals and avalanche classes. Check their website for reservation information and updates about their 2009 introduction of Lick Creek mountain biking tours.
